2018 Men’s Ministries Focus Goals

Quarter 1: Men as Pacesetters

“Jesus called them together and said, “You know that those who are regarded as rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all.” – Mark 10:42-44

“The expectations of life depend upon diligence; the mechanic that would perfect his work must first sharpen his tools.” – Confucius

Quarter 2: Men as Reapers

“Give praise to the Lord, proclaim His name; make known among the nations what He has done” – Psalm 105:1

“Have you no wish for others to be saved? Then you’re not saved yourself, be sure of that!” ― Charles Haddon Spurgeon

Quarter 3: Men as Stewards

“Then the LORD God took the man and put him into the garden of Eden to cultivate it and keep it.” – Genesis 2:15

“When a man becomes a Christian, he becomes industrious, trustworthy and prosperous. Now, if that man when he gets all he can and saves all he can, does not give all he can, I have more hope for Judas Iscariot than for that man!” ― John Wesley

Quarter 4: Men as Mentors

“Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another”– Proverbs 27:17

“One of the greatest values of mentors is the ability to see ahead what others cannot see and to help them navigate a course to their destination.” — John C. Maxwell
